Welcome Back to Church!

I’m excited to welcome everyone back to church Sunday, August 2. We have new and ongoing ministries to look forward to this fall 2026. As a church I’m asking us to focus
on reimagining, rebuilding and recommitting to church. Let’s focus on growth tracks for our church as a ministry and in our personal spiritual growth with the Lord by listening to Your Spirit more than your flesh and the one who sent me is with me; he has not deserted me for I always do what pleases him.
John 8:29 NLT

Jesus did not come to be loved but was already loved by the Father and connected to the Father. Everyone Jesus connected to benefited from that flow and was not only refreshed but restored in one encounter with the Lord.

Jesus prayed for His disciples and for everyone who believed their message of salvation.

“Now I am coming to you. I told them many things while I was with them in this world so they would be filled with my joy. I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. They do not belong to this world any more than I do. Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth. Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world. And I give myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by your truth. “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me. Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Then they can see all the glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began! “O righteous Father, the world doesn’t know you, but I do; and these disciples know you sent me. I have revealed you to them, and I will continue to do so. Then your love for me will be in them, and I will be in them.
John 17:13-26 NLT

Everything I possess is a witness of God’s goodness.

The power of God should impact every area of life.

My family is a witness.
My health is a witness.
My marriage is a witness.
My finances is a witness.
My home is a witness.
My business is a witness.

You shall receive power after you receive the Holy Ghost and then you can be a witness.
Acts 1:8

The power the Holy Spirit gives is to be a witness. People want the power of God to perform but not to be a witness. The enemy knows he cannot stop the power of God but he can kill your witness.  It was never Gods intent for man to live apart from God but based on a decision Adam and Eve chose to live apart from God and everything around them failed. What you do is not the sacrifice but what you decide. That is why obedience is better than sacrifice because obedience is what you decide everything else follows. We should never make a decision apart from God. We were designed to be in constant fellowship with God and aware of His presence in our lives which creates partnership in His kingdom. Sadly many people want the partnership before fellowship.

Sunday mornings are a great start to fellowship but Sunday morning service is just a start.  If your relationship with God is no greater than Sunday morning you lack fellowship with the Lord. The Believers life is not sustained by occasional visits to church but are forged in His presence (your constant fellowship with Him).

I heard the Lord say during sabbatical, “Begin Again.”Your sin can never be greater than His commitment to love you so commit to Him again.  Now, as we have turned the page of 12 years of ministry in the metro Atlanta area,  as Senior Pastor I’m asking the Church to “Begin Again”. May He Restore Your Joy for the former things you first loved when you received Jesus as Lord of your life.

Begin to receive the Word again!
Begin to believe again!
Begin to love again!
Begin to pray again!
Begin to serve again!
Begin to give again!

Begin to pray daily for me and Pastor Don, the pastoral staff, the excellent team members, the elders, business owners, community leaders, financial partners, college and career and every person that walks through the doors of our church and joins the broadcast.  Begin to commit to serve again out of a faithful pure heart beginning with your family overflowing in your church and community.  Begin to give again as the Lord has increased you and not out of lack knowing that any good thing you give the Lord Himself will replenish. You will never run out.

Church NEWS:
To help me balance ministry and family time, I have a school age kid now ya’ll! I'm moving all church texts to my ministry church line at [678-705-5683]. This was announced Spring 2026 and now takes effects this fall 2026.

Please save that number for church updates. If you text me before or after church office hours 10am-3pm Monday -Friday I'll reply there the next day. Please call me directly for life emergencies and reach out in the prayer thread through the app or online and a staff member will contact me if I miss the post.

Community Life WOC never miss a morning worship service because we are hybrid. No matter where you are or what you are doing church is mobile and can be on the go with you. In 2025 we conducted 52 X 3=156 Sunday morning services not including the Encounter Wednesday night Replay and special Monday and Saturday services. People that is a lot of church!

To the Glory of God!

If you have not committed this year to faithfully attend the Encounter in person service or a worship service through the broadcast once a week begin again.
God rewards faithfulness not good intentions. We need to gather weekly around the Word as part of our spiritual growth. Make Him first by giving Him your first day, the first of the week which is Sunday. Your Devotion to Him.

The Sabbatical read for summer 2026 is the book of John. If you have not committed to read this book before returning to church begin again. John’s book rejects the lie and declares the truth.

Great News!!!!

Growth Track One:
Why Do I Need the Word?

One of the enemy’s greatest tactics is deception. He whispers lies designed to weaken your confidence, distort your identity, and keep you stuck in fear, shame, insecurity, or discouragement. I'm sure you've heard the lies:

You’re not enough.

Nothing will ever change.

God has forgotten you.

You’ve failed too many times.

You’ll never overcome this.

But lies only have power when they go unchallenged.

Jesus responded to every temptation in the wilderness with truth. He did not argue with emotions or entertain deception. No, He answered with the Word of God. As it is with us, we must learn to reject every voice that contradicts what God has spoken over our lives.

When the enemy says, “You are defeated,” God says, “You are more than a conqueror.” When fear says, “You won’t make it,” God says, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” When shame says, “You are disqualified,” God says, “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Isn't that great news???

The battle is often won or lost in what we agree with and then what we decide.
Every day you have a choice; you can either rehearse the lie or declare the truth.

God’s truth restores strength, it renews the mind, and realigns the heart. The more you speak His truth, the more your atmosphere changes. Peace replaces anxiety. Faith rises above fear. Hope begins to grow again.

Declare Today:
I reject every lie that contradicts the Word of God. I declare that I am loved, chosen, forgiven, strengthened, and equipped. My mind is being renewed by truth. Fear will not lead me. Shame will not define me. God’s truth sets me free.

Pray With Me:
Thank You Father for restoring our joy and strengthening us by the power of the Holy Spirit as we carry out our God given assignment to go and make disciples. We are completing our task as unto You and not unto man.

Father thank You for Your faithfulness to be Jehovah-M’kaddesh, the Lord our sanctifier. Thank You for Your faithfulness to be Jehovah-Nissi, the Lord our banner. Thank You for Your faithfulness to be Jehovah-Rohi, the Lord our Shepherd and thank You for Your faithfulness to be Jehovah Rapha, the Lord our healer who restored our soul and never let us forget You are so faithful to be Jehovah-Shammah, the Lord that is always there so I’m never alone.

Father, I thank You for every faithful member of Community World WOC that you set as it pleased You. We have decided to be faithful in our reasonable service to You first and then to others including my church. As a church we are faithful to work and participate together as one body for perfecting the People of God for the work of the ministry and edifying of the Body of Christ. I thank You Father for their faithfulness to support not a personality like mine but support the vision you set for the church and Community Life WOC locally by setting Your excellent spirit in us and as we abide in You we will be an excellent example to those in and outside the walls of the church by being a witness co-laborers and joint heirs with the Lord Jesus Christ in spreading the gospel promoting brotherly love, christian camaraderie and fellowship in Jesus name, Amen.

See you Sunday!

Your Faithful Servant
Pastor Barbara
