Daily Devotion

The call of God has always been a call to awaken. Throughout Scripture, God continually called His people to remember, to return, and to renew their devotion. His desire was never for His people to merely survive or exist. He called them into a living relationship marked by faith, dependence, and communion with Him.

To awaken spiritually is to become conscious once again of God's activity in and around us. It is realizing that He is present in ordinary moments as much as extraordinary ones. It is recognizing that He is still speaking through His Word, still leading through His Spirit, still transforming hearts, and still accomplishing His purposes in the earth.

Awakening is not about emotional hype or a temporary spiritual high. It is about having our eyes opened to the reality that God is near and inviting us into deeper fellowship with Him.

As we prepare for the High Holy Season may this prayer be a daily reminder that God is always near, always speaking, and always inviting us deeper into fellowship with Him.

Good Morning Lord,

Awaken my heart to Your presence. Open my eyes to see You at work in the ordinary moments of life and my ears to hear Your voice above every distraction. Renew my devotion, strengthen my faith, and deepen my dependence on You. Help me to walk closely with You, recognizing Your hand, trusting Your leading, and responding to Your call. May my life be marked not by routine, but by a living and growing relationship with You. In Jesus name, Amen.
