Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord. Psalm 27:14

Waiting can be one of the hardest places to maintain a grateful attitude. We are thankful when the answer comes, when the breakthrough happens, and when the promise becomes reality. But what about the space between the prayer and the answer?

The waiting season is not a wasted season. God can develop our patience, strengthen our faith, mature our character, and teach us to depend on Him in ways we might never learn during easier seasons. Gratitude in the waiting says, "God, I don't have the answer yet, but I still trust You." Don't allow the delay to make you forget the promise. Don't let an unanswered prayer turn into an ungrateful heart. You can be thankful while still believing for more.

Thank God not only for what He has done but also for the work He is doing that you cannot yet see. You don't have to see the answer to be thankful for the One who hears your prayers.

Good Morning Lord,

Help me remain thankful while I wait. When I become impatient or discouraged, remind me that You are still working. Strengthen my faith and teach me to trust Your timing. I choose to praise You before I see the answer. In Jesus name, Amen.
