We are in the Ten Days of Awe!!

Continue to rejoice in the availability of repentance. Most Jewish people understand that repentance is the path that leads to salvation and the forgiveness of sin, which is secured at the closing moments of Yom Kippur. Yom Kippur starts Wednesday night. Though it is difficult to explain the difference between the Jewish and Christian understanding of salvation, the Jewish community stresses forgiveness far more than personal salvation, especially as salvation is understood by most Christians. Jewish people are not as apt to think about personal salvation or a secured future beyond the grave in the same way Christians do. This is why we celebrate and rejoice in the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

The High Holy Days!!!

The Year of the Overflow!!!

Sow Anyhow!!

“Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His word]; and let us consider [thoughtfully] how we may encourage one another to love and to do good deeds, not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ’s return] approaching.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:23-25‬ ‭AMP‬‬
