Daily Devotion

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
James 1:2-4

Gratitude should be a part of our character as Believers. It changes our perspective of our surroundings. During and after fasting season, I am more intentional about starting my day with gratitude … finding five things to be grateful for before checking my text messages, email, social media, etc. Some days I succeed, others I don’t. Every morning is a new day to be thankful. We get to serve Him. We get to worship Him. We get to praise Him. We get to be apart of His plan today. Honored and in awe of who He is and what He does. He is the vine and we are the branches. We are fully dependent on Him. What a mighty God we serve! A heart of gratitude!
