Hanukkah remembers a time when God reached down into history and performed a great miracle in Jerusalem. It’s not often that we witness a true miracle such as one day’s worth of lamp oil burning continuously for eight days. But, at the same time, as Believers, we live a miracle every single day. That miracle is Yeshua Himself in us and with us as Emmanuel, God with us. He performed miracles when He was here on earth; when we came to faith in Him, He performed a miracle in our hearts. He made our spirits alive with eternal life, and He gave us new life. That’s a miracle we get to live every day.

Tonight, we use the Servant Candle to light four Hanukkah candles, and we again give thanks for the Light of the World.

Hanukkah Blessings
Blessed are You, LORD, our God, king of the universe, who has sanctified us by His commandments and has given us Yeshua the Messiah, the light of the world.

Blessed are You, LORD, our God, king of the universe, who has performed miracles for our ancestors in those days at this time.

Thank You, Yeshua, for giving us LIFE; now and forevermore! You have given us the miracle of new life. The old things have passed away, and You make us new. Thank You for taking the pains of the past and turning them into Your good purposes. Thank You for Your life-giving love that sustains us. Thank You for giving us eternal life with You!
