IF MY PEOPLE WHO ARE CALLED BY MY
NAME WILL HUMBLE THEMSELVES, AND

We find a powerful key to experiencing God’s supernatural deliverance in Isaiah 58:6:

“Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the heavy burdens,
To let the oppressed go free,
And that you break every yoke?”

Notice what fasting accomplishes in our lives and in the lives of others: freedom and breakthrough.

Elijah battled with depression and anxiety. He became distraught to the point of wishing he were dead when king Ahab’s wife, Jezebel, sent word that she want- ed to kill him.

God sent an angel to Elijah to encourage and strengthen him. Elijah ate the food the angel brought him and then journeyed to the mountain of God. Elijah then fasted for forty days and forty nights as he traveled to Mount Horeb.

God delivered Elijah and He also wants to deliver you!
