PB Devotional
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Galatians 2:20
We are not our own. And we will die one day. The ashes on our foreheads say, “remember thou art dust and to dust thou shalt return.”
We were rotten to the core. We were sinners. So much so that God became a man and died on a cross in our place. He loved us that much! And then He came back to life. He was resurrected from the dead. This is the center of our focus over the next 40 days. It’s the most important event in the history of the world.
Christians from all over the world, despite all the science and technology, still confess what the earliest believers in the catacombs of Rome cried out: ‘Christ is risen indeed.’”
