“Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”

If you want to teach your kids to love God, they need to see that you love God. And if you want them to learn to love God’s people, they have to observe you loving God’s people.

“Then Jesus gave the following illustration: “Can one blind person lead another? Won’t they both fall into a ditch? Students are not greater than their teacher. But the student who is fully trained will become like the teacher.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6‬:‭39‬-‭40‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Notice Jesus didn’t say the student will become as the teacher teaches him to be, rather he will be like his teacher. Our children will learn more about faith from watching us live out our own faith journey than from us telling them about God. Does your family see your faith or are you just telling them about Jesus.
