From the first chapter of Genesis, it’s clear God values relationships. So much so, He made it the foundation upon which everything in our lives must be built to live in His blessing, grace, and provision.

It’s no coincidence then that there’s a longing in every human to be known and loved. That inner void and loneliness we can all experience isn’t a made up feeling but a deep longing only God can fulfill. And yet, we’ll often try to fill it with other things.

As you fast today, I’m praying your relationship with God will reach new depths, taking you further into all that He has for you.
