We belong to the Lord. That is to say, the Lord is our father. Because the Lord is our father we have his character and his attributes. His goodness, his mercy, his grace and his forgiveness are our character traits. We’ve been translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom light by the Holy Spirit. We chose Him but He chose us first. We love Him but He loved us first. A chosen people.
