PB Devotion
“…if you suffer for doing good and endure it patiently, God is pleased with you. For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps.”
1 Peter 2:20-21 NLT
Follow Christ in all things; even if it means suffering. How many times in this life have you suffered for doing the right thing? How many times have people done you wrong because you’re good? How many times have people inflicted their judgment on you because you speak the Word and love Christ? How many times? Have you lost family and friends? Have you lost anything for Christ? Well, God is pleased with our suffering. He’s not happy that we go through trials and tribulations but He is pleased that we endure like good soldiers. We must continue to follow in His steps. Christ suffered for us and loved us first. He is worthy of our praise. We can and we will suffer for Christ.
The Ordinary Days!!!
…I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit…
