“God has called us to live holy lives, not impure lives. Therefore, anyone who refuses to live by these rules is not disobeying human teaching but is rejecting God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you.”

God cares about how you live. He cares about our day to day life. Everything we do should bring glory to God because everything we do is unto him and not man. So any who refuses to live a life that is holy, acceptable and pleasing to God is not disobeying human teaching but rejecting God. God gives the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us. We have no excuse not to live right before God.
