PB Devotion

“Christ has indeed risen from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.”
I Corinthians 15: 20

Paul assures us of Christ’s resurrection but also our ultimate destiny: that we too will be resurrected, and our loved ones in Christ. His resurrection is our promise of eternal future joy.

Ash Wednesday is today!!! It begins our voyage through Lent (40 Days of Purpose). Ash Wednesday makes us aware that our final destination is Risen Sunday.

Keep Jesus at the center as you examine your life through His grace and mercy. It is by his spirit that we are perfected.

Some people celebrate High Holy days (holidays) without ever encountering the meaning.

People celebrate Thanksgiving Day without giving thanks,

Christmas day without a living Savior,

and Resurrection Sunday without a risen Savior.

Don’t let it be you this year.

Celebrate the High Holy days (holidays) encountering the true meaning.

In the man made holidays…don’t forget what people choose to celebrate.

celebrate Thanksgiving and give thanks,

Celebrate Christmas day knowing we have a living Savior

Celebrate Resurrection Sunday with a risen Savior.

No matter how we mark Ash Wednesday, the day, whether with ashes on our forehead or with reflection on the meaning of the resurrection….Jesus invites us on a journey with Him always…not just today…accept His invitation. Receive your ashes today…let the world know…I believe so I repent.

Repent, and believe in the Gospel! Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.

All In!!!
