“If they listen and obey God, they will be blessed with prosperity throughout their lives.

Prosperity is not a promise, but a covenant made with our forefathers so that God can establish His covenant in the earth. It is the will of God to prosper the upright, those that like to do what God says, and delight in His commands. When your focus is to please God, He wants to please you. He wants to give you the desire of your heart. But you must be in His will doing things His way. Fasting is an opportunity to do things His way and get His righteous results. As you fast, confess the Word of God. God sits high and looks low. He looks to preform His Word. He wants to bless you because He is a covenant God.
