PB Devotion: 21 Day Daniel Fast

“If they listen and obey God, they will be blessed with prosperity throughout their lives.
All their years will be pleasant.
Job 36:11

“But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want,
and it will be granted!”
John 15:7

Jesus told us to obey His commandments and keep His Word. He wasn't telling us to become religious. He was simply telling us to allow His Word to work in our lives; to take His word and plant it deep in us so that we only do the Word. When He said to remain in Him and let His words remain in you, He meant for you to spend time with Him, to meditate, to fill our minds and our mouths with His words, and to let it guide our every action. During this fasting season our time with Him should increase. His words in our mouth should increase. If you keep doing the word, then He is obligated to fulfill His Word.
