Blessed is the one who reads the word and receives true revelation. The word is so powerful that we no longer read it trying to figure everything out or to learn and master all the rules. We read, study, reflect and meditate to know Him, to be in relationship with Him and to find ourselves in Him. The fasting season allows us to re-focus on the reason God gave the Word. When we read the scripture, it should have our hearts inflamed, our spirits quickened, and our lives empowered. We as a people want to be excited and emotional over the simplest of things that will fade away. We should get emotional and excited over the prophetic word of God that will never fade away. People have turned the Bible into just another book. The Bible is the infallible word of God. Every time you open it prophecy about your life begins to spill out. It’s the prophetic word that changes your life. The scriptures are more than ink on paper.
