Lord I thank for the 40 Days of Purpose. Our time set aside for you is precious. We remember your baptism; we remember your 40 days in the wilderness. We remember your triumph over darkness through the Word. So we rejoice in your victory. Your victory gives us life and your love empowers us. Your commandment of love is so simple and yet it challenges us to be more like you. Help us to let go of our pride, to be humble in you. Help us to love the way you ask us to love, to live the way you ask us to live. Our lives are examples of your greatness. Help us represent you well. Help us to not be a hindrance to another Believer. As we continue through the 40 Days of Purpose our goal is to become more like you. Have your way in us. We want to be used for your glory. Father we ask that you continue to protect us. Heal every part of us. Continue to lead and guide us. We are fully submitted to you. Thank you, Lord, for being our salvation. We love you Lord and it’s in your name we pray; in Jesus name, Amen.
