The work of salvation rests solely on God. But salvation is intended to usher us into a new way of life; a way of life characterized by “good works.” There is something beautiful in the idea that God has created us in Christ Jesus; as we come into a loving and trusting relationship with Jesus, we become something new. We find our true selves, our calling, our purpose, our gifts; a self that we might never have been able to imagine before Christ. During these 40 Days of Purpose, reflect on your life and the ways that he has revealed to you your true identity.
