PB Devotional
Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning. Don’t tear your clothing in your grief but tear your hearts instead.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He is eager to relent and not punish.”
Joel 2:12-13
“Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God.”
Holy living is spiritual worship. What do you think about when you think of worship? Do you think about singing during a church service? Worship is a lifestyle. Our spiritual worship can take place at any place, at any time. Over this last year of COVID-19, we were no longer able to gather in person for church services. But no Stay-at-Home order can or could ever stop our spiritual worship. True worship is a lifestyle. God desires lives that are dedicated to him more than he desires our worship songs. Reflect during 40 Days of Purpose on God’s message about presenting your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to Him. How is your life a sign a worship?
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true and proper worship.

“Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.”
Ephesians 3:20-21
