PB Devotion

Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning. Don’t tear your clothing in your grief but tear your hearts instead.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He is eager to relent and not punish.”
‭‭Joel‬ ‭2:12-13‬ ‭

Yesterday was Palm Sunday!!! This is Holy Week!!! This is the time that we remember the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. This is the week we remember the events of Jesus life leading up to Risen Sunday. Jesus enters as a King into Jerusalem, fanned by the palm branches of the people who recognized him as king. While the crowds would quickly turn against him, the people inside this moment have a glimpse of Jesus as he truly was; the victorious king. Jesus began his ministry in the wilderness where he allowed the devil to tempt him. After forty days and forty nights, Jesus emerges victorious over the devil. The devil leaves and angles minister to Jesus. Jesus remained rooted in truth and has rejected all of the devils lies, false promises and attempts at deception. Because of Jesus and his victory on the cross, we, too, can triumph against deception. Those that follow Christ know his voice. The voice of stranger we will not follow. Jesus already overcame the devil and all of his antics; so trust God. We serve a God that has gone through every temptation known to man and he came out victorious. There is nothing that can over to you in this  life; trust God. His victory is our victory. This is the week to remind yourself that victory is mine says the Lord. I win every time. Even when it looks like I'm going under; I'm going over. This is the week to celebrate the Great I AM. Thank Him for salvation, redemption, reconciliation and forgiveness of sins. Thank you Jesus for saving me.

Holy Week

This is the Year of Overflow

Sow Anyhow!!!

“Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:20-21‬ ‭
