PB Devotion

Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning. Don’t tear your clothing in your grief but tear your hearts instead.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He is eager to relent and not punish.”
‭‭Joel‬ ‭2:12-13‬ ‭

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, et us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.
Hebrews 12:1

One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. The devil came after Jesus when was vulnerable, alone, out in the desert and hungry. He wanted Jesus to give into his natural hunger and turn the stones into bread. The devil not only recognized that Jesus had the power to do it but also calls him the “Son of God.” Jesus responds with, “as it is written.” Jesus used the Word; rhema word. The devil wants to tempt us in the areas that weaken us. The areas that so easily trip us up. During Holy week praise God for being more than enough. We serve a God that has been tempted in every way, but he did not bend. Because Christ did not bend, we do not have to bend. The same strength, confidence and courage that is in Christ is in you and me. Christ is enough. Do you have Christ living and working on the inside of you? Then you have more than enough to get through this life!

Holy Week

This is the Year of Overflow

Sow Anyhow!!!

“Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:20-21‬
