PB Devotion

“Is there any place I can go to avoid your Spirit? to be out of your sight? If I climb to the sky, you’re there! If I go underground, you’re there! If I flew on morning’s wings to the far western horizon, you’d find me in a minute— you’re already there waiting! Then I said to myself, “Oh, he even sees me in the dark! At night I’m immersed in the light!” It’s a fact: darkness isn’t dark to you; night and day, darkness and light, they’re all the same to you.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭139:7-12‬ ‭MSG‬‬

The best part of the Christian life is encountering the presence of God. Jesus is the center of our life and therefore everything we do is unto to him. We expect the praise and adoration from the one true King. The Holy Spirit reminds us of the character of God. The Holy Spirit reminds us of what pleases God and what angers God. We know Him by the way he does things. When we know Him we have confidence in Him. Our confidence creates an atmosphere of faith that causes an outpouring of His Spirit; a space to encounter His presence. This is where God wants us to be, right in His presence. God hated separation from us so much that Jesus was sent to pay the ransom. When the ransom was paid the vail was torn. The presence of God was no longer just in the Holy of Holies but now it was available to everyone who would enter. Enter into the presence of God!!! Rest in Him!!! Experience Him!!! He is all around!!! Step into Him!!! Be found in Christ!!

“Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:20-21‬ ‭
