PB Devotion

“They didn’t waste a minute. They were up and, on their way, back to Jerusalem. They found the Eleven and their friends gathered together, talking away: “It’s really happened! The Master has been raised up—Simon saw him!” While they were saying all this, Jesus appeared to them and said, “Peace be with you.” They thought they were seeing a ghost and were scared half to death. He continued with them, “Don’t be upset, and don’t let all these doubting questions take over. Look at my hands; look at my feet—it’s really me. Touch me. Look me over from head to toe. A ghost doesn’t have muscle and bone like this.” As he said this, he showed them his hands and feet. They still couldn’t believe what they were seeing. It was too much; it seemed too good to be true.
Luke 24:33-41

Jesus refers to the law of Moses, the psalms and the prophets throughout the New Testament. Everything Jesus said was to bring clarity and confidence in the truth of God’s Word. How tangible could revelation become? When we understand the Word of God, we are able to grasp who He is and what it is he reveals; rhema. Jesus said look at me. See the holes in my hands and feet. Can you see my bones and muscles? I’m not ghost!! Exactly what I said would happen did happen. Let faith raise!!! What tangible evidence do you have in your life that Christ did exactly what He said He would do? What evidence do you have of God’s grace breaking through in your life and transforming you? What evidence do you have of the presence of Jesus Christ being alive and active in your life? What has God done for you that just seems to good to be true?

The Road to Pentecost!!!

“Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:20-21‬ ‭
