PB Devotion

Thank you Lord for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Thank you for placing your presence on  the inside of me so that I can be a witness to the truth and the power of your Word. You never require me to do anything apart from you. You promise to be with me wherever I go. I am strong because you are strong. I am brave because you are brave. It is in my weakness that I’m made perfect in you. I understand that I can do nothing that truly matters in eternity separate from you. So I rest in the confidence I have in you. I am no longer a slave but a child of the most High King.  Everything you have is mine and everything I am is yours. You are within me and that makes me enough for any circumstance. My flesh is limited. The demands and challenges of this life can be distracting. My desire is to do your will and live a life that is holy and acceptable to you. So I thank you for renewing the right spirit in me. Thank you for creating in me a clean heart. Thank you for restoring my joy in your salvation and giving me a willing spirit. Thank you for sustaining me through every trial. Help me to continually be led by your Spirit so that your Spirit controls my thinking rather than my worries, disappointments and anger. I am grateful for the peace You offer me through your spirit. You are the Prince of Peace and I am submitted to your Lordship. Thank you for the Holy Spirit; the lead, the guide, the advocate, the counselor and standby. You give the best gifts. I bless you name today, in Jesus name, Amen.
