PB Devotion
“according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith--that you, being rooted and grounded in love.
Ephesians 3:16-17
No one truly has the blueprint of how to live this life. We worry if we are doing it well everyday. Are we being a great spouse? Are we training our children well? Are we enough on our jobs? Am I enough in general? We often feel inadequate for the demands of life, but the Spirit strengthens our inner being and grounds us in love. We easily fall into worry and fretting, but the promise of the Spirit is that if I set my mind on Him, I gain life and peace. What a promise! So I ask you today...what are you setting your mind on? When you set your mind on Christ; all of those worries fall away. The mind set on the Spirit produces life and peace. Set your mind on Christ. Meditate on His words day and night; then and only then will you find great success in all things.

“Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.”
