PB Devotion

“He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said. He was seen by Peter and then by the Twelve. After that, he was seen by more than 500 of his followers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have died. Then he was seen by James and later by all the apostles. Last of all, as though I had been born at the wrong time, I also saw him.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:4-8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This is Paul’s testimony. He met Jesus. He wasn’t worthy of His grace. He was guilty on all accounts. He was a literal murderer. He was not worthy of His mercy. He could not earn redemption and even if he could he didn’t know he needed it. Paul was transformed by the blood of Jesus Christ. A love he had never known until he encountered His presence. The Good News he continued to share was:

He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said. He was seen by Peter and then by the Twelve. After that, he was seen by more than 500 of his followers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have died. Then he was seen by James and later by all the apostles.

Jesus died on the cross but He is alive!! All of these people will tell you He’s alive. Some of them are dead but the ones that remain will tell you He’s alive. The most powerful part of this testimony is:

Last of all, as though I had been born at the wrong time, I also saw him.”

I also saw Him!!! I know Him!!! I want you to know Him too. He saved me. Expand the Kingdom and spread the Good News!!!  Share your testimony.

““So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:31-34‬
