PB Devotion

“But tell me this—since we preach that Christ rose from the dead, why are some of you saying there will be no resurrection of the dead?”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I find this passage of scripture interesting because Paul posses this question that triggers the thought of not believing what you read. For these people in scripture it was believing what you hear because the Bible was not present. I find myself asking a very similar question. It sounds something like this:

Really…since we preach that Christ rose from the dead, and has gone to prepare a place for us, why are some of you saying there is no hell?

I’m as appalled as Paul. Just like the people then questioned the resurrection people are questioning the resurrection power of God. They are questioning Gods love, forgiveness, mercy and grace. People are thinking they can live however they please and still go to Heaven. I assure you today that Hell is real and the resurrection is real too. Spread the Good News!!! The Kingdom of God is near!!
