The results of their fasting, their lives were spared. Fasting isn’t really making God do anything. Fasting is making you do something. Our position in Christ causes Him to respond to us. His response may or may not be what you want to hear but you will hear. God responds to faith and faith alone. Faith changes Gods mind because faith changes us. I truly believe fasting increases faith because our focus is not on tangible or surface things. We are truly focused on the spiritual food; the Word. Fasting taps into the power of God therefore increasing faith. Fasting takes faith!!! This is not done in your own strength. Thank God for this fasting season. Get ready to fast!!!
