King David begged God to spare the child. He went without food and lay all night on the bare ground.
2 Samuel 12:16
King David also tried to release God’s mercy for his baby by fasting. Even though it was not to be, David knew the principal of fasting. David understand how to focus and inquire of the Lord. He knew that fasting would get Him in the right position to revive from the Lord; whatever the outcome.
As we begin to fast we must prepare to hear, see and feel whatever God releases. You may get a no where you prefer yes or you may get a yes where you prefer a no. Either way fasting creates a space to receive.
Spread the Good News!!! Expand the Kingdom!!
