PB Devotion

Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land?”
Acts 5:3

At the end of this story there are two dead bodies and a fearful church. It seemed like  everything was going well until sin crept in. Church includes people who sin and unfortunately sin habitually.

As Peter confronted the couple who allowed the devil to whisper to them. I am sure he did it with great sadness. He knew what it was like to let the devil whisper and let God down and to disappoint Him.

We don’t have to have a heart filled with Satan’s whispers. There is another way.
What we all need are hearts open to grace from God.
