PB Devotions

Freedom is a gift, it’s a treasure.  And though we all may agree on that truth, it’s often easy to take for granted one of the greatest gifts that God has given us in our lives. We just celebrated Pentecost. We celebrated the gift of the Holy Spirit. He’s the lead and the guide into all truth. He empowers us to do what we feel inadequate to do. The most precious gifts are never free. They came and come with a price. It always takes a sacrifice.  Jesus gave all. His life was a beautiful exchange for our life. The solider understands the final measure sacrifice. Many brave men and women were and are willing to face hard battles in order for us to enjoy that gift of freedom today.
For all those who have protected our nation, for the men and women in uniform who are no longer with us, we say “Thank You.”
