PB Devotions
And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.
1 Corinthians 12:28
Administrators are “take charge” people who jump in and start giving orders when no one is in charge (sometimes when someone else is in charge). They put a plan on paper and start delegating responsibility. The committee or group reports back to them and they work the whole plan of the program together.
If you are an Administrator, you have the Spirit-given capacity and desire to serve God by organizing, administrating, promoting and leading the various affairs of the church. You are the person who leads the church and its ministries. If a program or event is scheduled, they almost instantly have a plan to carry it out. When followed, the plan usually makes the event more effective.
Administrators usually have one of two leadership styles. One organizes things, events or programs. The other organizes people and emphasizes personal relationships and leadership responsibilities.
If you have the gift of administration on your life then do it to the glory of God.
The Ordinary Days!!
“You are Christ’s body—that’s who you are! You must never forget this. Only as you accept your part of that body does your “part” mean anything. You’re familiar with some of the parts that God has formed in his church, which is his “body”: apostles prophets, teachers, miracle workers, healers helpers, organizers, and those who pray in tongues. But it’s obvious by now, isn’t it, that Christ’s church is a complete Body and not a gigantic, unidimensional Part? It’s not all Apostle, not all Prophet, not all Miracle Worker, not all Healer, not all Prayer in Tongues, not all Interpreter of Tongues. And yet some of you keep competing for so-called “important” parts.”
