PB Devotion
For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.
2 Corinthians 10:4
We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.
Never change your confession of faith for any reason. God is watching. God is watching how His people respond in a time of crisis. It’s easy to respond right when things are good but how about when things are bad, disappointing and discouraging…just downright hurtful. What will He see in you and what will He hear from you? No one is exempt from anything. Nothing takes God by surprise. Your steps are ordered by God. Life is an opportunity to practice your faith. Stand strong. Do not change your confession of faith.
The news is talking but hear by the Spirit. Your friends are talking but hear by the Spirit. Your family is talking but hear by the Spirit. Your kids are talking but hear by the Spirit. Your boss is talking but hear by the Spirit. Wait!
God has done things I’ve never seen before and He has more in store. Whatever God touches will live. Let your life be an alter for God. God reveals things to heal us. God is continually turning the ship. It’s a slow lean but lean and feel the pull. He is working in your favor. At the point you feel you’re about to break He, God breathes new life. Depend on His faithfulness through all things.
High Holy Season Starts October 2nd.
Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others...
