If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important. Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else. For we are each responsible for our own conduct.
Galatians 6:3

God has an assignment for all of us and it’s not the job we pick.

The assignment is saving the lost; being the game changer for eternity. It is so easy to be distracted by the here and now. What we did yesterday and what we will do tomorrow runs through our mind. What another person did or said yesterday clouds our tomorrow. It is a tactic of the enemy to distract you from your assignment. Let every day be the day to obey God. Let everyday be the day to stay on mission.

Only you will stand before God. Only you will give an explanation for how you lived your life and what you did with your time. Your wife won’t be there. Your husband won’t be there. Your kids won’t be there. Your parents won’t be there. We each are responsible to fulfill the call of God on our lives.

If we allow distractions “people” to stop us from fulfilling the assignment on our life we let the Devil win. He doesn’t need to end us just stop us from having impact. Be the game changer. Hold on to the hand of God tight and never let go. Follow Him with your whole heart. Keep your eyes on Him. Incline your ear towards Him. Seek Him.
