PB Devotion

There are so many reasons to feel discouraged during this season. When we hear the news of problems in the world, when we face challenges that seem overwhelming, when we have problems that don’t seem to have solutions. There are certainly times when we can feel hopeless.

Paul knew that all of us need hope. The Bible tells us that hope last forever; it endures.

“Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

No matter how dark or depressing our circumstances may appear, we can always hope in God! He wants to give us hope in any situation, no matter how dark things might seem.

We should not merely hope. God wants us to rejoice in hope!

Paul knew what it was like to have hope in the midst of hopeless situations. As he and Silas sat in a Philippian jail, they could have been in despair. But, instead, they had hope and sang praises to God. And God brought them deliverance and victory (Acts 16).

Thank God for hope!! Merry Christmas!!
