PB Devotion

But you need to be aware that in the final days the culture of society will become extremely fierce. People will be self-centered lovers of themselves and obsessed with money. They will boast of great things as they strut around in their arrogant pride and mock all that is right. They will ignore their own families. They will be ungrateful and ungodly. They will become addicted to hateful and malicious slander. Slaves to their desires, they will be ferocious, belligerent haters of what is good and right. With brutal treachery, they will act without restraint, bigoted and wrapped in clouds of their conceit. They will find their delight in the pleasures of this world more than the pleasures of the loving God. They may pretend to have a respect for God, but in reality they want nothing to do with God’s power. Stay away from people like these! For they are the ones who worm their way into the hearts of vulnerable women, spending the night with those who are captured by their lusts and steeped in sin. They are always learning but never discover the revelation-knowledge of truth.
2 Timothy 3:1‭-‬7 TPT

When we read scripture such as this we realize the world hasn’t changed very much. It’s also an opportunity to see yourself, family and friends. The world is not getting better. It is getting worst. But as the world gets darker the church should get brighter. As the world gets weaker the people of God should get stronger. Who are you?

Thank you Lord for making us aware. Continue to light our path and let your Word reign over our lives. Your precepts and instructions are the blueprint of our actions. God of Angel's Armies, protect the call on our lives. We pull on the Spirit realm to violently take by force all that belongs to us and to restore in abundant measure. Fill our cups so that we can gather and labor in the power of Your anointing. We will not respond or react like the world. We will not trade the pleasures of this world for Your glory, in Jesus name, Amen.

But we who live by the Spirit eagerly wait to receive by faith the righteousness God has promised to us. For when we place our faith in Christ Jesus, there is no benefit in being circumcised or being uncircumcised. What is important is faith expressing itself in love. You were running the race so well. Who has held you back from following the truth? It certainly isn’t God, for he is the one who called you to freedom. This false teaching is like a little yeast that spreads through the whole batch of dough! I am trusting the Lord to keep you from believing false teachings. God will judge that person, whoever he is, who has been confusing you. For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you are always biting and devouring one another, watch out! Beware of destroying one another.
Galatians 5:5-10, 13-15
