PB Devotion
Listen and obey God, they will be blessed with prosperity throughout their lives.
All their years will be pleasant.
Job 36:11
For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory. It is God who enables us, along with you, to stand firm for Christ. He has commissioned us, 22 and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment that guarantees everything, he has promised us.
2 Corinthians 1:20-22
Amen: a word uttered in affirmation of the eternal truths.
Many times, we find ourselves praying for temporal things. Lord, I need to pay my bills. Lord, I need a new car. Lord, I need a new job, bigger house, more clothes etc. Prayers are eternal when we pray the Word. No earthly circumstance can hinder God’s Word. Jesus was the Word made flesh. He spoke with power and authority. The promises of God were and are always yes. We do not pray temporal words, but we pray the Word of God with the power of Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit and with conviction to the glory of God for the sake of others. Amen is the way Believers acknowledge that Jesus has fulfilled all of God’s promises. It is by the power of the Holy Spirit working within us that we have the confidence to speak His Word and expect results. I am healed, I am prosperous, I am forgiven, I am loved! Jesus is the great I Am. Amen
The Year of the Overflow
Sow Anyhow!!
May His favor be upon you for a thousand generations. On your children and their children and their children. May His presence go before you, and behind you, and beside you, all round you and within you; He is with you. In the morning, in the evening, when you come and when you go. In your weeping and rejoicing;
He is for you.
All their years will be pleasant.
