PB Devotion

Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning. Don’t tear your clothing in your grief but tear your hearts instead.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
He is eager to relent and not punish.”
‭‭Joel‬ ‭2:12-13‬ ‭

Ashes symbolize the fact that we are both human and mortal, that we are dust and to dust we will return. Ash Wednesday evokes the past, encourages us to focus on the present, and points us toward an inspiring future. Ash Wednesday is about how we turn our hearts and reverence God. We are reminded that every Believer must continually renew their repentance and faith. Living a repentant lifestyle is the life of the Believer and it takes faith. It takes faith to love, forgive and repent. It takes faith to please God; a right now faith. On Ash Wednesday we are reminded of our faith.

Take this time, over the next 40 days, to mourn the past, to examine the present, and to look forward toward an inspiring future. I assure you the best is yet to come.

This is the Year of Overflow

Sow Anyhow!!!

“Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:20-21‬ ‭
