PB Devotion

Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning. Don’t tear your clothing in your grief but tear your hearts instead.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He is eager to relent and not punish.”
‭‭Joel‬ ‭2:12-13‬ ‭

Today is Good Friday!!!! Today we remember the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The work that happened on the cross transforms the life of every person who chooses to believe. Belief comes by faith. We choose to have faith in the thing we cannot see and could not attend. The crucifixion of Jesus Christ was for me and it was and is for you.

“It is for this reason, you must make every effort to support your faith with goodness, and goodness with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self- control with endurance, and endurance with godliness, and godliness with mutual affection, and mutual affection with love.”
2 Peter 1:5-7

The transformed life is marked by faith. Your experiences in faith, your walk of faith and your growth in faith defines your life in Christ. What does your faith look like? Your faith was sparked because of that happened today!!! Jesus Christ the Son of God was crucified on the cross for your sins; and you believed it.  He paid a debt with his life because we couldn’t pay it. We were so deceived by who we think or thought we were that we didn’t even know you were dammed. God loved us so much that he made an eternal decision for us. He chose to love us when we hated Him. He chose to be faithful to us when we were faithless. Jesus paid it all and we believed it. Celebrate your faith in God!!! Happy Good Friday!!

“Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:20-21‬ ‭
