PB Devotion
“For I am the least of all the apostles. In fact, I’m not even worthy to be called an apostle after the way I persecuted God’s church. But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me—and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace.”
1 Corinthians 15:9-10 NLT
It is by grace through faith that we are saved. It is by Gods mercy that we are not consumed by our sin. After every Paul had done in the name of Jesus Christ he still considered himself the least of these. Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles, never forgot who he was or where he came from.
How could he forget. I’m sure he was reminded of his deeds daily. People rarely remember the good you do but they will always remember the bad things you do. Paul was very guilty, but Gods favor was more powerful than his past. Paul asked Jesus to forgive him and Paul repented. He turned from his evil ways and produced fruit of his repentance. Gods favor was not without results. Paul was able to fight the good fight and run the race because the grace of God delivered him from the weight of his guilt. That’s what the grace of God does in every person. Grab hold of the grace of God and never let it go. The Kingdom of God is near.

““So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”
